When designing the collection of Bright&Dark salt and pepper mills, we drew inspiration from natural, durable, creative materials, and the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which finds beauty in imperfections, simplicity, and natural behaviour.
To this end, we created a timeless accessory that will act as the dominant feature of your kitchen. Its design is founded in the elegant curve joining the robust oak head and concrete body. The concrete has been masterfully worked to be functional, safe, smooth, and pleasant to the touch.
Every mill from the Bright&Dark collection is handmade in the Czech Republic. We present the Bright version in a light grey design.

We discovered beauty in concrete – a material and its various forms we come into contact with every day – and we used it to create an original mill pursuant to the Wabi-Sabi principles. The structure of the concrete is perfectly imperfect, each time boasting a different pattern and colouring. With this in mind, every mill is a one-of-a-kind piece that never goes out of fashion and maintains its value.
The mill may be filled with salt or pepper, after removing the wooden head. The ceramic grinding mechanism, which can be set for a coarser or finer grind, ensures your selected ingredient is ground to perfection.
